Sports and deep tissue massage
Professional sports massage and deep tissue massage at Hertford Chiropractic Centre on Ware Road, in a calm, clinical and welcoming environment.
What is the difference between sports and deep tissue massage?
Sports massage focuses on manipulating the body’s soft tissues (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) to optimize performance and speed up recovery. You don’t need to be a professional athlete to benefit from a sports massage.
Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow, deliberate strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding your muscles). It is highly effective for breaking down muscle knots (adhesions) and relieving chronic tension.
Who is it for?
- Runners, gym-goers and active individuals
- Those recovering from physical injuries
- Office workers with chronic neck and shoulder tension
- Postural stiffness
